GET THE NET!

I ordered some new paints to try out and this is what came out. I just love the vibrancy of the paint colors. The colors really pop off the canvas.  

Got a wild hair one day and purchased some different shaped wood cutouts. Got busy creating this wine glass mandala sign. I used metallic paints so they shimmer! 

Left-handed artwork! I had recently broken my right collarbone but after a few months, I just couldn't wait to paint again. Using my left hand, I put together this beauty. 

For one of my friends, I surprised her with this Minnesota wood painting. In front of their cabin on Cotton Lake is an island they call Bird Island I thought she might like this for the lakehome.

Another attempt at a Leonid Afremov. He actually uses oil paints on his paintings but I'm a fan of acrylics. Maybe some day I will create one that does justice to Leonid.

Having come across an amazing Artist named Leonid Afremov, I wanted to give his techniques a spin. I still have a long way to go but they are so colorful! 

This was a custom request for a friend using my pastels. Charlie passed away and my friend asked me to create this for the family. Such a cutie pie!

This precious kitten was such a joy to paint! Those eyes are so pretty. Not to mention that pretty little pink nose. Such a sweetie, created with Pastels.

My friend asked for ideas on painting a rock she found on a trip. After just a little persuasion, I offered to paint the rock for her. They put it outside their RV on trips.

One of my favorite things to do is mandala paintings. Although tedious, it's very soothing just dropping paint to the canvas or wood. State cutouts are fun!

Wanting to practice my pastel work, I decided to take a shot at creating our own Lily Jo. Not the best but she's cute as can be no matter how bad I do.

During the 30/30 challenge in September, one of the topics was Glamour. I ran across a piece that prompted me to paint this. She's pretty.

This one was so much fun! I created it for my niece for her birthday. She happened across some of my other Mandalas and said "I want one too!" So sweet.

During the painting challenge of 2020, the topic was "grid". I happened across a photo of a hockey puck and net. I created this one using acrylics.

Did some redecorating in our living room and dining room. I needed something to go on our dining room wall. I went to the canvas and came up with these.

During our remodel, our bathroom needed some sort of fun signage. Thanks to my Cricut machine, which I love, this is what developed.

Everyone needs a welcome sign, right? Well, not sure how welcoming this one is but I thoroughly enjoyed putting it together using my Cricut machine.
